Developing OTFA

Just a quick note to say we now have 10 news headlines generated from rss.fyneside.com displaying on the central site, and a whole slew of (mostly) relevant stories from external sites imported into our developing news taxonomy. We particularly like Radio News, because this carries all the feeds from the most relevant sites on radio in the UK, ‘Quixotic’, because it contains feeds from our adventures on the internerd (things like Stumbleupon, flicker, del.icio.us … ) and Local Blogs for “Bloggers of Quality in Argyll”.

Next is styling the headlines, and making the External news items available on the Fyneside homepage somehow. It might be a case of AJAX or iFrames or both.
