Developing OTFA

It was odd. All our subdomains, like lismore.forargyll.com and developing.forargyll.com, went AWOL and were replaced by a garish green holding page. After a moment or three’s thought we had a look at the back end and decided to cut to the chase and physically create the subdomains for WPMU to use, and as soon as we did all the sites came online. Phew!

Given that we don’t need blogs to be created by users, and are only using the WPMU to link the membership of all the blogs, this solution suits us. However, we’ll have to reassess this if and as we decide to create a social networking version.
